You may notice red lines on some of the leaves. This is from a permanent marker I used to outline the stones before I started painting them. NEVER try to paint over permanent marker! No matter how many layers of paint you use, it will continue to bleed through. Unless you refrain from using any type of clear finish or sealer, which seems to be the key element that draws out the marker ink.
